It has long been used as a tool for innovation but popularised more recently by its use in Silicon Valley and key creative industries globally. It’s human-centric approach means developing solutions and innovations with a focus on empathy towards the needs of the user/customer. “It can be used when developing strategies, services, products and approaches and is an iterative process that supports a lean and rapid approach.” Leading brands are turning to Design Thinking to better drive their approach to problem solving and innovation in their industries. It encourages creativity, generates engagement across all disciplines and personality types and is democratic. It allows teams to shape their ideas into something tangible, skipping internal debates and processes to develop prototypes that can be quickly tested with real users/customers.
HOW IT WORKS
Over the course of a one day workshop we will give your team an understanding of the structure and methodology used in Design Thinking to creatively solve problems and innovate. They will be exposed to a real-world challenges/briefs relevant to your organisation and developed in consultation with you. At each phase of the process, they will gain experience with the basic tools and techniques that can easily be applied to their everyday work environments post the workshop. The workshop will be facilitated by Ruck Agency but any catering requirements are the responsibility of the workshop host team.
